Over $4,000 has been raised so far for the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Calgary Food Bank through The Ramsay Turkey campaign.
Residents of the small, inner-city neighbourhood of Ramsay in Calgary discovered a wild turkey wandering through their streets in the spring of 2019. They named him Turk, and he adventured for over a year throughout Ramsay and surrounding communities, unwittingly spreading love and hope wherever he went. The t-shirt campaign brought a community together, inspiring a message of calm during unprecedented times in the world.
